The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation upholds the draft law on efficient use of fuel and power resources

The bill (Reg. No. 3071) aims at refining legislation in the sphere of energy efficiency and creating legal basis for securing implementation of efficient state regulation of activity of economic entities in the abovementioned sphere in order to establish economic and organizational conditions for effective and economic use of fuel and power resources.

People’s deputies stressed that “the draft law should be upheld since it aims at efficient use of fuel and power resources, which is an urgent need for the development of national economy and preservation of environment”.
